MARBLE'S COMPASSES
Marble's brass body compasses are a 100-year-old tradition with hunters, campers, hikers and explorers worldwide. Marble's compasses have been used by Admiral Byrd, Admiral Perry, Charles Lindberg and Teddy Roosevelt. Marble's compasses were routinely pinned on G.I. bomber and flight jackets in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. The opening photo in Jeff Daniels' movie "Escanaba in da Moonlight" showed an old family photo of a hunter wearing a Marble's pin-on compass. The pocket and pin-on compasses come in two face styles, solid white with a revolving needle and black and silver revolving dial with a luminous dot at the North position.
